Hon. Mohamed Mursal Mohamed, a Member of the Puntland House of Representatives and an active figure within the Parliamentary Committee on Security and Peace, conducted a working visit to Waaciye district in the Bari region, where he held a strategic meeting with district authorities and members of the local community.
The meeting focused on three core areas: strengthening local security measures, improving basic public services, and enhancing collaboration between the local administration, security forces, and residents.
“Community-driven security and development are key to building resilient districts like Waaciye. I commend the local leadership for their dedication to public service and their commitment to safeguarding peace,” said MP Mohamed Mursal during the meeting.
The MP emphasized the importance of sustained engagement between parliamentarians and local communities, noting that the insights and concerns raised during the meeting would be presented to the Puntland Parliament, particularly the Security and Peace Committee.
