Over 400 young innovators attended the Youth for Climate Innovation Forum, launched by the Ministry of Environment.
Deputy Minister Hon. Yacqwub Mohamed Siyaad encouraged youth-led climate entrepreneurship through innovation labs, startup grants, and mentorship programs.
“The creativity of our youth is Djibouti’s renewable energy,” said Hon. Yacqwub. “They are designing the green economy of tomorrow.”
The forum established the National Climate Innovation Hub, funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB).
